A new feature available to Alarm.com customers
“Safety Button is a smarter, more advanced way to connect to police, fire, or emergency medical help when needed. Whether customers are at home alone or out late at night, they’ll have peace of mind knowing that help is available with the press of a button in the app.
If a customer feels unsafe but not ready to call 911, they can hold down the Safety Button. Once they release the button, they can either cancel the event within 10 seconds or communicate with a trained operator, who can dispatch responders directly to the customer’s real-time location. In the event the customer is unable to communicate, emergency responders will be automatically summoned. All that’s needed is the Alarm.com app —no additional hardware required.”
